Austin Partners in Education (APIE) wants to make it easy for you to invest in Austin ISD. Our goal is to help students gain the academic skills and the self-confidence necessary to become successful learners, while reaching their fullest potential in our community.
We act as a point of contact for donors and volunteers, giving them immediate visibility to the strongest opportunities and best programs in education. Please contact us to find out how you can help Austin students as a partner!
We work with schools and other education support groups to identify those practices that benefit students the most, and then marshal business and foundation resources to pilot and expand successful programs.
Our offices are located downtown in the Austin Centre Building at 701 Brazos Street, Suite 480 in space graciously donated by T. Stacy & Associates.

APIE creates and fosters effective community and school partnerships that provide all AISD students preparation for college and career.
- Support the preparation of AISD students in meeting the Austin labor market needs.
- Support the academic success of students at all levels through mentoring and tutoring efforts.
- Increase the number of students who apply to college and receive financial aid.
- Support the technology needs of school campuses through partnerships with businesses organizations and individuals.
- Increase the business community's support by communicating the needs and successes of the campuses and students.
- Support student and teacher morale by improving and beautifying campus facilities.
- Develop and implement a range of fundraising strategies to support and sustain various APIE initiatives.
