Currently, 90% of the students we serve are economically disadvantaged. Your gift helps us deliver free, innovative reading and math programs raising Austin ISD students’ academic performance. By supporting APIE, you enable us to bring dedicated community volunteers into the classroom and provide critical academic and personal support to the students who need it most.

If you do not enter a name, we will responsibly use your money where it is most needed. These Programs are Improving Student Learning Outcomes
Studies show that a majority of the students who cannot read by the third grade have difficulty catching up academically. Second Grade Reading Classroom Coaches share the wonder and power of reading, building the foundation for student success.
6th Grade Classroom Coaches share a love of reading with students, increasing fluency and comprehension for increased learning outcomes. Reading is key to success in all other subjects. This also supports Step-Up for struggling 6th grade reading students.
Math Coaching helps students build a strong foundation in middle school math, putting students on track to succeed in high school. This also supports Step-Up for struggling 8th grade math students.
