The 4th annual Feria Para Aprender was held on Saturday, February 6 from 10am to 2pm at the Travis County Expo Center. For the first time, attendance at Feria surpassed the 10,000 mark with families travelling from all over central Texas.

This year marked many changes to Feria Para Aprender including the introduction of four Career Pods: Healthcare, STEM, Digital Media and Education. At each Career Pod, students were able to learn more about the opportunities in a variety of fields and the education necessary to succeed in these careers.

Many thanks to the nearly 100 booth exhibitors that represented non-profit organizations, school district departments, college, and universities. Your willingness to serve this population is extremely appreciated.

We would also like to thank the Austin ISD Parent Support Specialists who provided over 160 hours of support ensuring all families had an enjoyable experience.

Finally, we would like to recognize the amazing volunteers who contributed well over 600 hours of time to making Feria Para Aprender a success. We could not have done it without your help leading up to the event as well as on Friday and Saturday.
