Austin ISD Teacher of the Year
In February, each school was given the opportunity to choose their campus's Teacher of the Year. Then, each nominee was invited to complete an application to be considered for Austin ISD's Teacher of the Year.

District Awards
This year, the following categories have been included as District Awards. These nominations were submitted by school employees and members of the community. Nominations were reviewed by a panel of judges who will selected finalists. Winners will also be announced at Salute 2010.

- PIE Coordinator of the Year

Campus-Based Awards
Each school has been given the opportunity to choose their own recipients for Campus-Based Awards. Certificates for each of these recipients will be sent to the schools and the recipients will be recognized in the printed Salute program.
