On May 7, 2007, we will gather at the Hilton Austin to honor all nominees and present the Salute awards for the Austin ISD 2006-2007 academic year.
It is our pleasure to invite you to recognize teachers, staff, volunteers and business partners for their continued dedication to student excellence and school achievement in the AISD community by submitting your Salute Award nominations.
In our effort to provide even greater opportunity to recognize and appreciate the many people who create success throughout the AISD community, there are several changes to this year’s awards process and the nomination categories.
Please note the following:
- Return deadline of Wednesday, February 28, 2007
- New categories and expanded award opportunities
- Judging process incorporating readers from throughout the community
- Finalists will be announced at the end of March 2007
- Both English and Spanish nomination forms available
- Submissions may be mailed, faxed or emailed to APIE for consideration
